WildManager - UAV-based method for the detection, deterrence, displacement of wildlife
Development of a modular UAV (Unmanned aerial vehicle) system for the detection, deterrence and displacement of game animals from agricultural land to reduce damage in crop cultivation. In particular application specific and highly optimised unmanned air vehicles are equipped with various sensors und actuators to: Module A: detect wildlife in agricultural holdings Module B: scare wildlife animals Module C: displace wildlife animals purposefully. The combined use of different Vergrämungs- and expulsion methods on a total high cost represents the currently represents the best possible method to deter wild animals. By prefix detection of animals in the Vergrämungs- / expulsion measures may take targeted. The use of the system as "electronic" driver increases the hunting success in driven hunts.
As a result of the project, test samples of technical devices and methods for the detection, deterrence and displacement of wild animals in agricultural fields were developed on the basis of a modular (combined) UAV (Unmanned aerial vehicle) system: aerial vehicle, sensor module, application map and acoustic-optical repellence of wild animals.
