Creation of conservation headland in grassland
The innovation project "Conservation headland in Grassland" aims to resolve the conflict of objectives between the preservation of biodiversity and the increase in agricultural productivity by establishing small-scale conservation headland (5% area share). In the short term, this enables process protection on a small area, and in the long term, the sustainable and area-wide restoration of valuable grassland biocenosis. The overall goal is to integrate the process into the Hessian agri-environmental funding, to optimize its existing funding modules and to quantify biodiversity effects.
