Fully mobile slaughter unit in Thuringia

Project description

The cooparative is going to bring the mainly theoretic discussion about mobile slaughter to practical action by realizing a novel self-sufficient fully mobile slaughter unit (FMSU) for several livestock species. Main topics: to link the specific demands of different locations, of food hygiene and logistics with economic aspects. We aim the ready-to-EU license planning in order to build and operate a prototype in the following project. Therfore a lot of requirements are to be checked and to be developed:

1. Species specific slaughter process and necessary equipment
2. Minimum demands to and acquisition of prospective operating locations
3. Inquiring details of food hygiene about red and white meat
4. Work out all necessary parameters to ensure an efficient logistic planning for the future operation options of the FMSU

Results focusing on practiceorientation

1.Konstruktion einer neuartigen, nach Bio- und Verbands-Richtlinien EU-zulassungsreifen Vollmobilen Schlachteinheit für mehrere Tierarten zum Zweck gewerblicher Schlachtungen am Haltungsstandort inkl. separater, modularer Kühlung, - Standortunabhängigkeit, Geländegängigkeit, autarke Arbeitsweise, Trennung von Schwarz- und Weißbereich, Temperierung der Räumlichkeiten zur jahreszeitenunabhängigen Schlachtung, Hygieneräume, -schleusen und –einrichtungen, deren Einsatzmöglichkeiten über die aller vorhandenen Systeme erheblich hinausgeht.

2. Schaffung beispielhafter vollständig durchgängiger und transparenter Prozessketten mit Darstellung der umgesetzten Nachhaltigkeitsparameter als Datengrundlage für Forschung sowie inner- und überbetriebliche Weiterentwicklung.
